I am taking 4 mg of dilaudid and 100 mg of trazadone and I can't sleep. I can't keep my eyes open but just toss and turn ## I had been taking Trazadone for years and I really felt it helped me get to sleep but did not work as well keeping me asleep. ## Michelle, are you sure that you aren't sleeping, or is it possible that you are and are just having very vivid dreams that you aren't? I just had a bunionectomy today and the doctor have me oxycodone - acetaminophen 5-325 and meloxicam for pain and inflammation. I have already been taking the trazadone 100mg for sleep at night. In the mornings I take effexor for depression and topiramate for migraines. Hi all - new to this forum. I started taking Trazodone and Ativan after back injury and subsequent depression and insomnia. Now months later, I am weaning off the Ativan (down from 2.5 to .5 and running!). Doing it slowly and it's going well. But I am experiencing side effects from the Traz (blurred vision, headaches, etc.) and beginning to bring my dose down as well (was at 100 mg, now down by 12.5!). I take 4-10mg methadone. I'm worried that they also got me on 100mg Zoloft plus a 150mg Trazadone and 2- 20mg adderal. Worred about taking all this pills. I've taken these pills for 8yrs now. The Zoloft they put me on 2 months ago. I breath fine but have had it fill like my brain is starving for oxygen to the point I fill like I'm suffocating or READY to pass out. I am taking 10 mg of Percocet, 4 mg of Xanax and 50 mg of Trazodone and can’t sleep. Should I take 100 mg of Trazodone at night? I have just finished my first wek of the starter pack. I actually already feel more motivation and energy. Now weaning off Cymbalta at 20 mg/day; also take Trazadone 100 mg 3 at bedtime. I take both of these meds on a regular basis and have for over 3 years. I am moving to Pensacola Florida, I am worried about finding a Dr. Who will write these meds for me. I also take 100 mg of trazadone at bed time . It works great after about an hour and a half of being very irritable, restless and shaky. My Dr does not seem too concerned about this side effect. My question is does anyone know of a good Dr in Pensacola that would write these scripts considering my medical history. And does anyone relate to the side effects of trazadone. I have suffered chronic pain from miserably failed back surgery and also have fibromyalgia. I have been in PM since 1994 and had to scratch my way through the medicine cabinet along with submitting to a kazillion different tests, therapy, the works. I wear 100mcg fentanyl patches, take 10/325 Norco for breakthrough pain, 6 mg tizanidine four times a day, 100mg trazadone at bed and bupropion 150 SR twice a day. I also suffer depression when my pain goes uncontrolled. I cannot take Cymbalta, Lyrics, gabapentin, desipramine, and SSRIs do NOTHING for me.
