I have had intestinal gas for some time: asked my primary care doctor whether there was something simple I could take as I had read that over-the counter meds were not safe. He prescribed dicyclomine 10 mg nightly. The list of side effects sound daunting. What do you recommend? I am quite elderly. ## Hello, Tomyris! How are you? I am on day 3 OF NITROFURAN MONOHYD MACRO 100MG 100 mg for urinary track infection every 12hrs, I have problems with my stomach and have been prescribed DICYCLOMINE 10MG/5ML. So just going off that information alone, I don't think there should be any problems using the two together (outside of each medication's own general side effects).
