Zithromax And Minocycline
UpdatedLast week I thought I had a mosquito bite on my arm. The next day the area around my arm was swollen and red, later that day the redness had spread rapidly. I went to the hospital they diagnosed me with cellulitis and prescribed me minocycline. I have been taking it for the last 6 days. Yesterday I started feeling feverish nautious with aches and pain. I went to the hospital they diagnosed me with bronchitis abx tx. I was prescribed zithromax. My question is can I mix the 2 medicines (minocyline & zithromax)? If not what are the side effects? Thank you.

They can be taken together, with the approval of your physician. But the FDA warns that you may experience more severe side effects such as nausea, dizziness, and diarrhea, according to FDA reports.
Has your doctor told you take both of them?
Are you on any other medications?
