Is Zithromax efective to treat tooth infection?

Generic Zithromax is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases. Yes, it can be used on infections in the oral cavity also.

NOTE: An antibiotic would control the spread of infection, but may or may not treat the cause of the infection (the cause of the infection might require treatment from your doctor). My advice is if you are still in doubt after using Zithromax, I would suggest contacting your doctor.
