Zincovit Multi-vitamin Tablet Side Effect

Please don't take this tablet. It can be very harmful. I took only one tablet and the next day/afternoon I had ongoing breathing problems, nasal blockage, constipation, dry mouth, allergic side effects, fever, swelling of face, vomiting, skin rash, skin burning, hot flashes, sweating, tiredness, itching, full night of not being able to sleep, upset stomach, bad cough, bitter taste in the mouth, and diarrhea. I visited my doctor and she confirmed it's the Zincovit multivitamin tablets side effects only. Now it's been over 4 days and still I am experiencing skin burning, nasal blockage and tiredness. Please avoid these tablets. It's very dangerous to one's health. The govt. should ban these kinds of tablets. It's one of the worst tablets I've taken in my life.

Zincovit tablets have been rejected by the Food Safety Administration of India. So it's definitely not good for consumption.

Hi Adarsha,

Sorry to hear about your reaction to Zincovit. Do you think it could simply have been a result of one or more binders/fillers that's causing you to have such a severe set of symptoms? Or perhaps some other active ingredient in Zincovit's tablet composition? I only ask because there are really just so many ingredients in Zincovit that it may be difficult to determine which one(s) your body is hypersensitive to.

Zincovit Active Ingredient List:
vitamin A 5000 IU, vitamin D3 400 IU, vitamin E 15 mg, vitamin B12 7.5 mcg, vitamin B2 10 mg, vitamin B6 2 mg, vitamin C 75 mg, vitamin B5 10 mg, vitamin B1 10 mg, niacinamide 50 mg, magnesium 18 mg, copper 0.5 mg, manganese 0.9 mg, zinc 22 mg, selenium 50 mcg, folic acid 1 mg, biotin 150 mcg, iodine 150 mcg, chromium 25 mcg, molybdenum 25 mcg, carbohydrate 0.2 g.

Part of me just doesn't think it's sufficient for the doctor to say that it's the "Zincovit side effects only", when that is obviously way too broad/vague to find the potential culprit among all the different ingredients. My guess is that no one on earth is allergic to every single vitamin and mineral (or even this combined spectrum of nutrients in and of themselves), since our bodies actually need many of these to continue operating in good health. This leads me to believe that your culprit may likely be in the list of inactive ingredients, which I have yet to find.

In all honesty, can we really trust the FDA's judgement in this day and age? Especially at a time when they approve dangerous side effect ridden drugs and demonize safe/effective natural remedies such as cannabis and kratom?
