This is just list as being a nutritional supplement that is used to treat, or prevent a deficiency in one of the vital nutrients it contains. So, there is no harm in taking it, unless your doctor has specifically instructed you not to.
The NIH warns that it sometimes causes nausea, as a side effect, due to its potency.
