Zertalin Azitromicina 250mg For A Bladder Infection

I have a bladder infection. Can I use zertalin azitromicina 250mg to cure it? If so, what dosage?

According to Medlineplus.gov, Azitromicina (Azithromycin) is used to treat certain bacterial infections (ears, lungs, sinuses, skin, throat, and reproductive organs), including bronchitis, pneumonia and venereal diseases.

I, however, did not see any information specifically stating an indication for bladder infections (or UTI's). That said, I think it would be important to consult your prescribing doctor and/or pharmacist just to be sure. It is also your prescribing doctor's duty to inform their patient about what dose to take for best results.

Nevertheless, my guess is since its mechanism of action is so broad, bladder infections may not be out of the question.
