MY DOC TOLD ME TO DO YOGA instead of getting back Surgery ??????????????? MRI SHOW 5 buldging, herniated, Narrowing nurve space. Want walk, sit, stand more then 5 min at a time. Severe Pain with Sciatica. Is my doctor just being lazy?????? Going for 2nd opinion asap. What do YOU THINK?

Hello, LeeLee! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.
I can't speak for your doctor, I don't know if they were being lazy, or if they think yoga actually helps with this type of problem.
However, I do agree that you should get a second opinion. Proper treatment is imperative to restore your quality of life and prevent it from worsening. Sadly, there are some yoga poses that might actually worsen the problem, rather than help.
Have you tried physical therapy?
