What is this pill I can't find out anywhere, it's round yellow with 45|78 on one side and a fancy v on the other.

According to the manufacturer, Qualitest Pharmaceuticals, this tablet contains 20mgs of Methylphenidate. It is a stimulant that is most commonly used to treat ADHD and narcolepsy.
