Yeast infections can have various causes…

Are you on any medications, or were you on an antibiotic recently? Many drugs can throw off the PH of your body and kill the good bacteria, so yeast can grow out of control.

Do you swim a lot? Do you take a lot of tub baths, or soak in a hot tub? The chemicals used in pools and spas, or in tap water can also throw off the PH, killing good bacteria.

Do you use douche regularly? Douche can do the same as the chemicals I mentioned above.

Do you engage in intercourse regularly? If so, your partner may be infected and need to be treated, as well.

When you get older, over 35 though much more commonly in women past 40, your hormones can become imbalanced and that can have the same type of effect, so you may get them more frequently. Many women experience them around the same time they start their period, due to the effect the hormones have.

There shouldn't be a problem using it again, but you should double check with your doctor to be certain that it is safe for you to do so. They may also want to run some tests.
