Yeast Infction

hi,ive been diagnosed with yeast infction and my obgyne prescribed fluconazole 150mg 1tab single does, but the white discharge is still there, just want to know if there are other anfungal meds which is effective than this? im a bit worried the yeast keeps on returning back,anybody help. thanks!

How long has it been since you took the medication? It may take several days, before you see results.

The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain.

Do you take a lot of tub baths? Do you use a lot of perfumed soaps? Are you on any other medications? All of these are factors that could cause recurring yeast infections.
