XXTERRA Ointment for Equine Sarcoids. I need reviews on this. EXXTERRA for horses: I just used it for the first time. Will post how it goes. Anyone have any review, please share. Thanks

Have been using it on my horse's sarcoid on his girth area. Sarcoid drops off, but has come back once. After pausing treatment for 2 weeks, am treating again. Will let you know how it goes. Vet says it's very effective.

Hello,

I don't know a lot about medications for horses, but I did find some information from chronofhorse.com that makes Exterra seem like a good possibility for some. Obviously, one medication won't work the same for all horses but at least some have had success! I also heard about laser therapy being beneficial for sarcoids- from what I've read it's less painful and easier for the horse (I imagine they're put under when the laser therapy is performed-well I hope!). In addition, I've read about immune supplements that are supposed to help horses fight off the sarcoids on their own.

I hope this helps. Anyone have more information to add regarding this topic?
