Xarelto-is It Safe?

I have a n option to switch to Xarelto 10 mg twice daily from Claxin injection 0.8 ml twice daily for the next 5 months.
I am undergoing chemotherapy (BEP) post removal of my testicular cancer.
Question is if this drug is considered safe for such long durations?
what are the side effects?

I have been on Xarelto since Feb '13 due to multiple Pulmonary Emboli nada clotting disorder that Coumadin just wasn't working for. Knock on wood, to date I have had no problem whatsoever. The only negative that was told to me by the Dr., is that there is no antidote to reverse the bleeding effect if there was some sort of trauma... car accident, that sort of thing. Vitamin K can be used to reverse Coumadin, but it won't work for Xarelto. The risk of bleeding is higher, so no ibuprofen, aspirin, Tylenol for me! In comparing to Coumadin,I would have skipped right over that miserable drug and gone right to Xarelto.
