Xarelto And Side Effects
UpdatedI am a 65 year old woman and I was put on xarelto 20mg in Oct 2015. I have knee pain and thigh pain, so I called my doctor and he took me off, but I still have the pain. How long does it remain in your system for? I stopped the meds on Dec 28th 2015.

Hello, Moe! How are you feeling?
Since you were taking it for several months, it could take 2 weeks, or so, for things to improve. You should start to see a gradual improvement, as time passes, if not, then you should consult your doctor, again.
Other typical side effects that the FDA lists for this medication include nausea, headache and easy bruising.
Can anyone else that's had to stop taking this medication chime in?
