Hi numb,
Sorry to hear about the side effects you're experiencing. From what I could find, numbness is actually listed as one of the more common side effects of Xarelto on the webpage for the US National Library of Medicine at:

They recommend contacting your doctor immediately if you experience such symptoms while taking Xarelto. So that's probably one of the first things I would do if I were in your position. Sometimes side effects like this do go away on their own over time, but if the symptoms have been too bothersome or persistent, it seems to me that you'd have to work with your doctor in order to better determine if you can still continue taking it safely.
