Xanax Pill Oval 605

How do you avoid the passing out side effect and waking up forgetting everything?? Everytime I take a Xanax whether it the bars or this blue oval pill it knocks me out. Should I cut it in halfs??

You really should have been started on the lowest dose possible, certainly not the 2 mg bars? I'd speak with your doctor about this or cut them in half.
