That is actually intended to be an R, not an H beside the 2 on the opposite side. My husband has a whole bottle of these in the bedroom, and these ARE NOT XANAX!

This is Risperidone 2mgs, a generic for Risperdal. This is actually an antipsychotic medication, it slows the racing and confused thoughts that are associated with psychotic problems. In some cases, it is also prescribed to those who suffer chronic depression, such as my husband, because when it slows the thinking processes that much, it can help a person to sleep.

This relaxing and slowing type of effect is also why people who take this drug, not knowing what it is, often assume it is Xanax or a similar drug and in some cases they assume it is a narcotic, but is neither one.
