Hi Bon, if you are looking for an extended release form of this medication, then look into Xanax XR, or the generic Alprazolam XR (extended release). I believe they come in doses of 0.5mg, 1mg, 2mg, or 3mg. Hope this helps!
Eddy is correct! Thank you, Eddy!
It is very dangerous to break, cut or chew a time released medication, since it could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once.
Learn more Xanax details here.
This medication has the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability.
Annie, what are the markings on the tablet? Your post is difficult to understand, so I'm not sure which pill you're talking about.
If it has an MLX marking, then it is most likely an over the counter product, because that's what that logo is used on, so it wouldn't be a Xanax tablet.
Is there a extended xanax and if so what mgs and the name of the pill?
Thanks
B
Just wanted to say, medschat gives all the info I ask about. It's a great site.
You are NEVER supposed to break a timed release pill, or compromise any pill other than a solid non time release pill. Did I say that right?
