Xanax Blue Pill Oval 605

So I got some of these Xanax. Where I'm from we call them footballs. I recently started taking hydrocodone and now have been having withdrawals without them. Do you think these footballs will help me quit hydrocodone? I've never had withdrawals from Xanax in all my years of taking them. I definitely don't want the withdrawals from the norcos tho and I'd like to quit ASAP considering that I've only been taking them for about a month. Different kinds of course the white 365 & 367, the yellow 10s, and now the white with red dots. The white with red dots really cause me to withdraw.

I was given Norco for my Car accident and did experience withdrawal problems. I was down to one a day, then a half a day and still experienced discomfort. Xanax on the other hand has the potential for a much more serious withdrawal problem. Personally I hate pain medicine, even one TEASPOON of my cough syrup that I hardly take has 10 mg in it. My Doctor said its 7.5 mg but the bottle says 10. Be careful!

This topic has actually been heavily debated in a number of other threads I recently came across; whereas it's been argued that if you can use xanax responsibly for a few days (during the worst of your symptoms) in order to help with the opiate withdrawals, then it may be just fine. But like Eddy mentioned, taking them for a long period of time will inevitably make getting off xanax just as difficult if not worse than getting off hydrocodone when it comes to the potential severity of withdrawals.

On the other hand, it's also important to take into account that not everyone is wired the same way, and some people may even feel uncomfortable being on xanax during a state of opiate withdrawal. If this happens to be the case though, you could always see whether or not your doctor is able to recommend something else as a safer alternative to xanax.
