Xanax And Blood Test (Top voted first)

I took a .25 mg xanax at 7 p.m tonight I just found out that my job is giving me a drug screen by taking my blood at 7 a.m in the morning, it's a low dose and i weigh about 110 do you think it will show up in my blood screen?

I had done it before on a urine screen and it came back clear but I wasn't sure about a blood test. I was hoping since it was such a low dose and ten hours apart it wouldn't show up. Thanks

Just for future reference, Xanax contains the active ingredient Alprazolam, it is a Benzodiazepine and they are generally detectable in blood tests for about 2 days, after you last take them.

There are other factors, however, that are always going to play a role, such as your metabolism, overall health, activity levels and etc.

I took 1 Mg of xanax on Friday and have a ua test that goes to the lab tomorrow (Monday) im in good shape and exercise and am.drinking alot of water do you tbink it wil show up still? Im 150 pounds and 5"11 my metabolism is pretty quick too

Unfortunately a benzodiazepine like Xanax will not clear your system in less then 72 hours so I'd say chances are strong you will test positive for Xanax use.If you were legally rx this drug your ok if not you may have an issue to deal with..
