I just picked up my monthly prescription of Xanax from my Pharmacy but I have never seen these before and they do not taste like every other kind of Xanax I have had. Is it possible for a pharmacy to have counterfeit Xanax? They are white with four marks on the back and on only one side is the number two. The other side has absolutely no imprint except for the four scoring.

No Pharmacy would sell a controlled medication or any prescription medication without a # labeled on the pill. OK how bout this, let us know what the bottle says along with the Pill manufacturer, NDC# and any other information you feel we should know.

"White with four marks on the back and on only one side is the number two" - Yes, there is a Xanax available with that marking. It is manufactured by Bionpharma and they list it as containing 2mgs of Alprazolam, which is a generic for Xanax. (NDC 69452-113).
Inactive Ingredients:
- Colloidal Silicon Dioxide
- Lactose Monohydrate
- Magnesium Stearate
- Cellulose, Microcrystalline
- Povidone K30
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

It's probably a Sandoz 2mg alprazolam with GG 249, scored 3 times on the front and blank on the back.

It's bionpharma 2 mg Xanax. It's real. Took 4 mgs on a very full stomach a little over 2 hours ago. Took another 4 mg about an hour ago. Was gonna go sublingual second time but forgot. Worried about them being underside. Just might be all the food I will update later.

Imprint GG249 is 2mg Sandoz. I get them prescribed every month. Also, why are you taking so much? Those are heavy doses well beyond therapeutic value.

False. I get Mexican Alprazolam and they do not have numbers or labels on the front or back.
