X L 3 Cold Medicine And Taking Nyquil

Is it ok if I take Nyquil while I'm taking XL3 pills for a cold

No, it would be best not to double up, because they both contain Acetaminophen and taking too much of it in a day can result in overdose toxicity, which has the potential to be fatal.

They both also contain decongestants and cough suppressants, so there is no need for both of them.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of these medications as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth.
