Wisconsin Doctors Willing To Prescribe Oxycontin
UpdatedGreetings, I am a 57 year old female patient who is currently on 160 mg of oxycontin per day. I have SEVERE osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia, and I have had three a surgeries sine 2004--all bone related. I M currently staving off a double knee replacement and lower back surgery for severe stenosis. There are days I can barely walk. The most recent issue I have is a collapsed arch in my right foot which is protruding through the bottom of my foot. I have medical records to back up all of these conditions. I am still able to work and hold a full time job; however, my doctor has recently moved to help his parents in another state and so far, no doctor is willing to treat me. Even if I willingly work with him her to decrease my level of medication to a lower dose. Even the pain clinic has turned me down. I have one final prescription remaining. So I have a month to find help. I live in Wisconsin near Milwaukee, but a short drive North. Is there any doctor out there willing to help me? I do not want to have to go to rehab or detox and lose my job, my benefits, and my life possibly, just because I wanted to have less pain. The suboxone sounds like a nightmare of side effects. I'd rather cut back little by little and get to a lower level that way than take a chance on "common" side effects. Is there any help for me out there?
