Wine With Norco

i am taking 2 norco a day for severe back pain my pain doc told me i can not drink any alcohol at all but i like to have 1 glass of wine before bedtime why is this a problem

First, the alcohol can intensify the side effects of the narcotic, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness and drowsiness than normal. Basically one drink can affect you as if you'd had 2 and so on.

Second, the both can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could put you in danger due to dangerously lowered heart rate, blood pressure and shallow breathing.
