Will Pharmacy Fill My Zubsolv Prescription After Norco Fill

Ive been taking suboxonr for 2 yrs, my insurance switched me to zubsolv which ive been on 1.4mg every 2 days for 5 months. I went to urgent care center for strep throat and was given pain med script for norco. It was dumb to fill it and i found a pharmacy to do it but i dont want to take them and now im affraid my regular pharmacy will see that and not fill my refular zubsolv prescription. Any thoughts on this, please help!f

In Tennessee a sub clinic will kick you out for being late! You'll most likely be re-flagged. It's an excellent idea to bring the full bottle & pass your drug panel. Good luck!

It depends on the dr. If you have signed a pain contract, the dr can dismiss you without any more rxs and it may be very difficult to find another dr who will manage your pain.

I believe the only honest way to know for certain what the pharmacy will do regarding your situation is to ask them directly. They will always adhere to their stringent policies, so if you don't get the answer you're looking for from them, then it seems to me like it would probably also be a good idea to discuss this in more detail with your prescribing doctor who can attempt to mend the situation.

In my opinion, if you bring the "unused/unopened" Norco prescription with you to the Dr, this should be enough evidence to back up your claims stating that you made a mistake in getting it filled to begin with.

Come to think of it though, I didn't know they prescribed Norco (a pain killer) for strep throat (a bacterial infection caused by group A Streptococcus bacteria). Sounds like they should've prescribed an antibiotic if anything, in order to treat the underlying cause of whatever pain you had?
