I was prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen 5-325 TB for back pain. I ran out so I took a oxycodone 10mg for the pain. Today is the 11th of April and I have to go in and see my Dr. on the 14th of April. If he tests my urine what will the outcome be? Will it just show for opiates or will a Dr.'s office urine test be more of a specific test? I have a feeling he's going to test my system because after all he did prescribe me the hydrocodone.

Will hydrocodone test different than oxycodone in a 12 panel urine test? Need info on this fast. My appointment is tomorrow morning and I took hydrocodone but i'm prescribed oxycodone. I'm not sure if they do an 8 or 12 panel test but I need to know if they will show up as the same thing or two different drugs?

It all depends on the test, and at any time they can decide to do a more comprehensive test if the cheap 5/6/10/12 panel test is inconclusive or contradictory to your story. For instance, I've taken suboxone before and tested positive for morphine. I later found out that administering suboxone through other means can cause it to metabolize differently, causing this false positive. The best advice I can give is it's always better to be safe than sorry, and especially for things like parole/probation if they know you're on a pain medication prescription, they will very likely gcms the test to verify that you're not using a street drug or a more powerful prescription opiate/opioid, ESPECIALLY if they know for instance, heroin is your drug of choice.

That's what happened to me I got hurt @ work carpel tunnel & they drug tested me & it showed up for Oxy but I take Hyrdocodone 4 times a day I did take Oxycodone for yrs & yrs but they did send it off to tha lab & hoping & praying the lab can verify I only take Hydrocodone I'm kinda scared cuz I don't wanna lose my job for something I was prescribed for yrs

It will show oxycodone. That's Percocet different medicine than hydrocodone plus I wouldn't trust that it be out of your system in 3 days. More like 4 or 5 days.

That is not true hydrocodone does contain codeine I am highly allergic to it back years ago when I had taken it I was also prescribed Phenergan because I couldn't take hydrocodone without vomiting but I was eventually changed to a different medication so I wouldn't have to take the Phenergan so you are wrong about that as I said I'm highly allergic to codeine and hydrocodone does contain codeine

I am prescribed hydrocodone and diazapam. That is all I take and I had to take a drug test for my Dr and supposedly it came back saying I had my meds plus oxycodone in my urine test. So how and why would it come back saying I had oxycodone in my system ?

I just had a hair test 1-17-18 and it showed Tylenol #4 and Hydrocodone, but I only take Tylenol #4 it's freaking me out because I dont know what to do. Besides give them the pharmacy # so they can varify.
