Hi dee,

Sorry to hear about the bad withdrawals you've been experiencing. Did you mean to say "Neurontin" by chance? I haven't found anything by the name of noroton. Neurontin (Gabapentin) however, was originally developed for the treatment of epilepsy, but is currently widely used to relieve neuropathic pain. I cannot guarantee how effective it is for managing certain withdrawal symptoms (since it's not indicated for this purpose), but I'd imagine that results could vary for each individual and their particular set of symptoms. Was this person a doctor or credible source who told you that it works for all symptoms?

I'm not doubting that it wouldn't help for some people, but there's really no clear way to determine how well it will help your particular case of withdrawals unless your doctor is able to provide you with a trial or sample prescription of some sort to see for yourself.

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Gabapentin Details

I hope this helps!
