Hi matt,

From what others have been posting here, it sounds like most people only experience the serious withdrawal symptoms after being on it for much longer periods of time (i.e. several weeks, months, or years). I haven't actually heard about any cases of people having withdrawal symptoms (other than possible discomfort or trouble sleeping) within a week of taking it, but that could also depend on how much you were taking?

I would recommend verifying your intent to taper with your doctor first just to be on the safe side... and if you feel like you've developed any sort of tolerance to the drug within that short time frame, it might be wise to at least wean down a little bit before deciding to quit. Your doctor can also help you come up a schedule that makes things easy on you.

I hope this helps!
