I was on oxycodone and morphine for 11 years. I am now on suboxone 12mg a day for three months now. I don't want to continue to be on them because the oxy's and morphs helped pain more. not to mention the side effefts of the suboxone sucks. I want to know if I will get sick if I simply stop subs and start back on 4 30 mg of oxycodone and 2 30 mg morphs?!

Hello, Leigh! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain.
Suboxone actually contains the narcotic Buprenorphine coupled with Naloxone, which is used to neutralize other opiates, to prevent their abuse, while someone is being treated with it.
Thus, if you took the others, while still under the effects of it, it will negate them and you'd just be wasting medications.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
You'd need to wait a period of time, before you'd be able to go back to the other medications, so they can help alleviate your pain. Your doctor should be able to help you with that.
What types of problematic side effects have you been having from it?
