Will 10mg Of Methadone Show Up On A Urine Test The Next Day If I Only Took It Once

I took 10mg of methadone today and have to have a ua positive for methadone tomorrow. Will i test positive for it?

Yes, soz- u probably done it now. I get the same problem. My problem now is being in England can't get xanax- just diazepam - it doesn't cut it- need a way for xanax....any ideas are welcome coz I'm just goin through too many diazepam, and xanax is so much better for all my symptoms.

Just from your post your NOT a Chronic Pain Patient!!! I am. There are days that all I can do is let my dogs out and go back to bed. That's life? I have no quality of life what so ever. So if you want to chat about "common sense", the doctors have been told by the government to cut the opiates. And yes, Ma'am, I also signed a contract and I know it's against the law but when you feel like you would be better off dead. I opt to try something to ease the pain. I am not speaking of "HERION". But a doctors right to "do no harm" and they ARE by taking away OUR everyday life.

If I took a half of a 10mg methadone last Friday and had a 10 panel random urine test the following week on Thursday and hadn't taken methadone before would it still show up positive?

She wasn't saying the meds are still working in her body, just that it still shows up. Go to school educate yourself in this stuff. I got a Masters in Criminal justice and help drug addicts daily, look if you need to fail your test take them correctly, if you don't need to fail your test then stay clean. It's common sense And the LAW..

I wish Methadone hung around that long! The withdrawal is TERRIBLE!

No offense but your doctor must be slipping himself some dope if he believes that methadone stays in your system for 2 years lol. That means you wouldn't go through acute withdrawals for 2 years after you stop taking it. Yeah he's lying! He obviously wants you to stay on it for money I am guessing!!!

Methadone is one of those drugs that u just dont pee out in 2 days. The Methadone gets in your fat cells. I was on it for about 11 yrs and my doc said it could stay in my system for up to 2 yrs. scary I know. But I am not sure about a couple. Good luck

I have been on Methadone for several months 30 mgs a day, I broke my ankle and had three abcesses in my gums. I took to many , not counting them down and had to take hydrocodone and 1 valium to get through the pain. I was out 4 to 5 days , what do you think is going to happen to me . Is my Dr by law not able to prescribe me more medicine, I have been an excellent and trusted patient but I feel sure the the Dr will have a negative report on methadone and do something , but what ?
