Why Would A Dr. Give This To Help To Get Pregnant

My Dr. gave me this to start on the days 3-7 of my cycle to help me get pregnant. How would this medication help me. ref cycle

It is often used to help increase fertility, to enable a woman to get pregnant, according to NIH reports.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, mood changes, breast pain, vaginal bleeding, and weight changes.

Are you on any other medications? Has there been any changes?
