why strocit injection is given to patient, its wether to reduce high BP or to provide from mild stroke? my dad had high BP past three days and high temp..continuously he had shivering in his left hand so doubtedly a CT scan was taken for head and 2 times strocit injection was given to him so i want to know why it is been given? want immediate reply

It is given to increase oxygen.supply to brain amd decrease damage to brain.which is happenong die to clot already!!
