Have they checked your heart, or just done blood tests?
It is possible that your heart is working too hard, for some reason, such as a partial blockage, according to the NIH.
Do you also eat a healthy, low salt and low fat diet?
The NIH lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
