Why am i stile bleeding am worried cause I don't know if its my period or something wrong

Please i need urgent help because am so worried out of my head that i cant even function well again , been having heavy menstrual bleeding for 10 days now (light colored blood with lumps most times). I visited the doctor on the 4th day of my bleeding and i was given promolut n (1 tablet 2 times daily for 2 weeks) but the bleeding has not even reduced a bit except for night times. i reported back to the doctor and he asked i go for pelvic scan to check for fibroid but the scan came out relatively normal, am loosing so much blood i change pad and toilet papers every now and then, please what should i do since the doctor said i should continue the drugs and also wait for my next cycle if it would be normal before she can know what else to do.last month cycle i experienced this heavy bleeding for the first time but it didn't pass my normal 6 day menstruation, what could be wrong please ? is this hormonal imbalance like the doctor said? yes i started a new job last 2 months and i don't sleep as i used to but a 6-9 hour sleep a day is health right? Please someone should help i have 8 days to wait before i see the doctor again but its killing me. Am 24 and not married,never had a child too.

I'm waiting for a histerectomy surgery and i'm taking primolut but i'm still bleeding , i was taking 3 x day , from yedterday 6 day and nothing happened , still the same amont of nlood, 2 weeks for my surgery , i'm soo worried what can i do?to stop the bleedig?

I bled for 3 weeks straight so my dr put me on Primolut 1 tablet twice a day and it stopped the bleeding after about 4 days but I started bleeding again after a few days and still am 1 week later despite still taking Primolut. Have had a pelvic ultrasound external & internal to hopefully get some answers.
