Why Am I Sweating When Using Dilaududs (Top voted first)

I want to know why I am sweating so much when using dilaudids. It doesn't seem like a withdrawal thing because when I wake up I will be fine but when I take them i start sweating profusely like I am almost sick. If time goes by the sweating will stop but once I take them again I start the sweating again. If anyone can tell me anything I appreciate it.

It sounds like you are having a reaction to the medication or you are taking too much. I would advise seeing your doctor immediately. You might want to taper down to avoid withdrawals. Tramadol 50mg will help keep the withdrawals at bay. Your pain doctor should easily prescribe it. It won't help with the pain so much, but you won't be sick.

Flushing and sweating can be a side effect of narcotics in some people that take them. It happened to me too, when I was given Dilaudid in the ER.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
