White Round Pill No Imprint Scored On One Side Only

I have a white round pill with no imprint, scored on one side only. It's from Canada and I was told it was a percocet but I don't think so. Any help would be appreciated.

In the United States does all medication and pills have to have a number on at least one side.?

I'm not absolutely certain if Canada requires their pills to have imprints on them like the FDA does in the United States but without an imprint on the pill there really is no way to tell you what is inside of the pill. It could be quite literally anything with such a broad description.

If you absolutely need to know what is inside of the pills you can have one sent to a pill analyzer which can be found online. This will likely result in a fee as I don't know of any companies that are willing to do this service for free. Another route is taking your pill into your near by pharmacies and see if they have the capability to identify the pill or analyze it's contents.

My honest opinion and advice is to simply not take the pill and dispose of it properly. I always advise against taking medication that isn't marked or prescribed to you unless it's an over the counter medication you bought yourself.
