A FRIEND SHOWED ME THE PILL. IT AS A LARGE WHITE ROUND PILL. IT HAS A LINE DOWN THE MIDDLE ON ONE SIDE. THAT IS THE ONLY THING ON IT. IT SMELLS LIKE A VITAMIN. I HAVE TRIED LOOKING IT UP BUT CAN'T FIND ANYTHING ON IT.

There's a very good chance that it is a vitamin, since it has no markings. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required to have markings to enable their identification. The only tablets without markings would have to be over the counter products.
That said, there are many possibilities for what it might contain, but if it smells like a vitamin, then that's as good of a guess as any.
