Hi Melissa,

Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Methadone and Hydrocodone; so you shouldn't experience any strange problems in that regard.

While it is possible for there to be an additive effect, some people have had incidences where they noticed a decreased efficacy with Hydrocodone when they administered a larger dose of either medication. I'm not a doctor, but from what I've read, I don't think it reacts quite as strongly as Suboxone would in this type of scenario. None the less, it is something to pay very close attention to if this is your first time using either of these medications together.

It may also be best to discuss proper dosing protocols and any other concerns with your doctor to help prevent this from ever occurring. (Especially when it comes to the possibility of withdrawal symptoms).
