small, round with 23 27 on back with a split between the numbers. What could it be?

The pill which you are describing is Benztropine mesylate (2 mg); which is used in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, parkinsonism, akathisia, and dystonia.

NOTE: The correct imprint on this pill is V 2327, not A.
