White Pill Vp 50

I have looked all over the internet for this pill and I can't find anything about it. All it has on it is VP50 it's white and oblong. I have found several in my sons room along with some sleep aid but for the life of me I can't figure out what they are!!!! Can anyone help PLEASE???????

Hi Amy,

Based on your description, the closest match I'm seeing is a white oblong pill imprinted with VP 120 on one side and blank on the other. It's reportedly identified as a Sulfamethoxazole (800mg) + Trimethoprim (160mg) DS tablet, used for treating a variety of bacterial infections. I realize the imprint isn't spot on, but because they are very similar, I get the sense that they may be manufactured by the same company (Vista Pharmaceuticals) - hence the "VP". Perhaps you can try contacting Vista Pharma directly for more specific details on whether VP 50 is something they make? The phone number/extension to reach them at is listed on their website as 973-736-1952/4457; based out of West Orange, NJ.
