Being localized like that would be rather odd for an allergic reaction.
Have you had this checked out, yet? That could be due to swelling from an infection, which would explain the toothache. And that is something that will require an antibiotic and proper treatment.
This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
