What are the speckels for is it the hydrocodone I never knew if they r better than the other ones or the same?

So, the manufacuter puts the 'coloring agent' or 'red speckles' to distingush there pills from other manufactuers pills? So, then what is the 'V 3604' on them for? Wouldnt THAT be THE way to distingush them from other generics? Doesnt each pill, no matter the medicine or the company, etc. have a unique number and/or letter combination on it? Coloring agent? Doesnt make sense to me. Jus sayin. :)
