White Pill Oblong With G On One Side And 154 On The Other

Found these white oblong pills in my son's room. It had G on one side and 154 on the other and I cannot find any information on that pill. Any help would be great.

From what I could gather, there are at least three different drug manufacturers who use a capital G on one side of their tablets (Greenstone Ltd., Global / Impax Pharmaceuticals & Guardian Drug Company). Each of their G's look slightly different. So if you are able to determine which G matches your pill, we would at least be able to tell who the manufacturer is, and possibly take it from there... That's just one idea anyways. You may be able to search each manufacturer's product page or google their unique logos for more specific details. I hope this helps.

Does your son have any input on what he thinks it's supposed to be?

Look closely and see if it looks like a misprint of 6 When I searched for G 164 the exact picture and this discription: Pill with imprint G 164 is White, Elliptical / Oval and has been identified as Carvedilol 12.5 mg. It is supplied by Glenmark Generics Inc

Google the image to identify it.
