White Pill Apo M50 Scored

I have a white pill with apo on one side and a line threw it, then m50. I would like to know what it's for?

Apotex Canada lists this tablet as containing 50mgs of Metoprolol, which is used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
