Based on the description provided I don't think this is Furosemide. I located a white oval pill with the marking PE 222. I'm thinking you may have missed a 2 in your description. Anyhow, the match I located is Duraphen, which is a combination of Guaifenesin 800 mg + Phenylephrine 25 mg.
It is used to treat nasal congestion and coughing
