I found a white with red speckels l484 imprint in my sons room. what is this. I know that I have found solid white ones on the internet but none with red speckels. I called my pharmicist and he looked and did all searches and cant identify it being a prescription med or a over the counter med. PLEASE HELP BEFORE I CONFRONT MY SON. THANKS. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED....

Hi Tim,

Sorry to hear about your situation. I too have done multiple searches on this and have yet to locate anything besides solid white oblong pills with the same exact imprint you described (identified as Acetaminophen 500mgs).

The only white oblong pill with red specks that I know of is generic 5/325 Vicodin with "3604" on one side and "V" on the other.

Any legitimate FDA approved pill should be recognizable by a pharmacist. The fact that they couldn't identify it has me questioning whether it was counterfeit - depending on where/who your son got it from. Hopefully an honest and sincere one on one talk with your son will help straighten things out in the end.

Best regards!
