This tablet is manufactured by Apotex Corp. and they list it as containing 400mgs of Acyclovir.

The FDA classifies this medication as an antiviral. It is used to help treat or prevent herpes outbreaks and is the only one approved for oral herpes/cold sores/fever blisters.

Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and bloating.
