White Oblong Pill With 1172 & 93

I found them in a bottle of furosemide I got from my pharmacy. What are they and what are they taken for?

You should report this to your pharmacy, since it seems they made an error.

According to the prescription drug databases, these tablets are listed as containing 250mgs of Penicillin V, which is an antibiotic.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allegic skin rash and diarrhea.
