White Oblong Pill 176 On One Side Scored On The Other (Page 3) (Top voted first)
UpdatedWas told that it was a generic hydrocodone 10/325 - any ideas as to who makes it?
Ok so I truly wish that people would spell check or re-read what they are writing before they post cuz I can't understand half of these posts cuz they are mostly spelled wrong. So I have been on Oxy 10mg for years and I get it without the Tylenol, if I feel the need to take a Tylenol then I will go take one but at least my body isn't getting it everytime I take my pain pills cuz it does do damage. I'm so confused how so many people post like they know everything about pills because everyone reacts to pills in a completely different way and something that works well for me may not work well for you. It's like a trial and error and if the pill you take sucks then talk to your prescribing Doctor and let them know and I'm sure they will change your prescription to something that works for you so you are not puking, having headaches, etc. I've never heard so many negative stories about something that you can change?? Even though you may be on a certain type of generic med, there are sooooo many other generic meds to choose from so find the right one that works for you. I completely understand that this may be a pain to do (literally), but it's your quality of life and you have to look till you find it. I had to do the same damn thing and it sucked but I did it and now I feel OK, I don't say that often cuz I have chronic pain as well as many other things wrong with me so I'm not good or great, but for mine and my daughters sake...I'M OKAY!!
Witch work better the 176 or the m357 please help me out more for my mom to get knowledge
I don't know what state that you live in,but in Florida my pain management doctor prescribe's me oxycodone 10/325...I get 150 and it's written prn so I'm allowed up to 5 pills a day....good luck to you
The 176 ain't even close to a v3601 yellows they are junk
You are wrong. The yellow ones are stronger. Ask the pharmacist.
That's not true. Everybody's body is diff. If you do real research into the Generic m367" 10/325-Yeah..., they're the same - But that company has the right to put only 8% Hydrocodone instead of 10. Thanks - "THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE"
Re: Jama (# 8)
It's totally in your head, by law it must be the exact same strength, when you see something out of the ordinary it makes you feel like its not as good or the same.
Trust me it's fine
10mg
I too have severe degenerative bone loss to the point that I cannot walk or stand for more than one hour. This reply regarding acetometephine has me greatly concerned. I take oxycontin 40mg. and oxycodone 10/325 3 for break through pain. Do you think this is too much acetemetephine? I will appreciate any and all replies. P.S. I also have other conditions but do not feel the need to go into it all. Thanks.
The 176 pain pills do not help my pain. Either I had five back sur
Well Doc I'd wish some call me and reschedule my shots. I'm doing OK, but the bad days will come again.
Just do what i do. I ran into the same problem with my percocet. So i called the pharmacy and asked why they weren't working. He told me bluntly, "then tell your dr to mark your prescription do not substitute" haven't had a problem since. Simple solution.
Actually, being a disabled Special Operations veteran, the VA has had me on 325/10's for about 14 years. The same question arose in me as well, not just with the Vicodens, but all medications such as Dayquil vs generic orange tabs. The answer I discovered is simply this, regardless what the Drs. say, the pharmaceutical companies producing generics are allowed a 10+ mg shift in either direction legally, and allowed buffer additives that are not as binding to save money (guess what dose they prefer?, yup, -10 or more) so no, it's not in our heads, your body knows! It's in their wallets!
Hey you should know because you're a pharmacy tech...if I was working as a tech I would learn all about everything....ijs
I'm in Florida as well but it's hard in bay county cause I am younger
I just took the 176's. Not impressed. I prefer the old version i got at Safeway in 2013. But Aurobi Norco is even worse. Losers! Shut em down! A good option is Tylenol 4 I think.
Just keep looking and don't give up and you will find the med you are looking for.
I agree. The first time I took the Norco it was the yellows. An emergency room doctor gave me a small supply. Three-years later, I got the white ones – didn't feel anything. Aurobi. Hope they go out of business. I'm going to ask doctor about codeine. Safeway had the yellow Norco three years ago – maybe they still have them today.
