White M473, Metallic Taste

Has this medication caused metallic taste? Went from same med (purple genetic depakote), to this horse pill (huge white, with M473 on side), & ever since, I feel I gave been sucking on pennies.

Yes, Divalproex has been known to cause a change in the perception of taste, in some people that take it. Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, mood swings and weight gain.
